The Newcomer Summit is an event that was spearheaded in 2022 by MABE (Michigan Association for Bilingual Education) and MITESOL (Michigan Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages). Our two organizations are excited to offer this now-annual Newcomer Summit, focused on best practices for supporting this emerging population with programming and instruction.
