On behalf of the MITESOL Board, we are very pleased to announce that TESOL Academy 2012 is coming to Michigan! It will be hosted by Eastern Michigan University on Friday and Saturday, June 22- 23, 2012 at the Student Center on the Ypsilanti campus.
The TESOL Academy typically consists of six 10-hour workshops focused on key issues and areas of practice in the profession. Each workshop is an intensive course led by a well-recognized TESOL leader, offering a great opportunity for teachers, administrators, curriculum planners or resource specialists to enhance their professional development with the added benefit of peer networking. As we are planning to host the TESOL Academy 2012, we ask for your input on hot topics and speakers you would like to recommend. If you have any suggestions, feel free to contact us.
