Michigan Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (MITESOL) was founded in March, 1975 by a group of concerned ESL educators who were seeking professional exchange, enrichment, and action. Today, MITESOL represents the interests and concerns of those who teach English to children, young people, and adults throughout the state of Michigan.
