Jennifer Musser

From student to teacher, Jennifer has long been fascinated with how second language learners acquire their L2. She studied Japanese extensively both in the United States and in Japan, and she obtained her B.S. in Journalism and a TEFL Certification from Ohio University in 2009. After that, she went on to teach EFL in Japan for about seven years. Now that she has returned to the U.S., she is enrolled in the M.A. TESOL program at Eastern Michigan University, where she also serves as a graduate assistant and tutor in the International Student Resource Center. When she isn't working or studying, Jennifer volunteers with a local refugee support organization and also looks for opportunities to travel. She has made it a personal goal to visit every continent at least once.
